Future Burp Cloths
How fun to be visiting Homemade by Jill again and find just the thing that I need for the future generation of my beloved's family — a tutorial on making burp cloths. Currently, Jill has quite a number of tutorials for making wonderful infant items so I may become tempted with other things if I hang out there too long.
Speaking of infants...perhaps you've heard that *Linds* and *Dawn* are brand new, for-the-first-time-ever paternal grandmothers. I think it's just so cool. If you want to see pictures, all you have to do is click on their names.
A blessed weekend to you all!

They are so lovely but first one has to find those beautiful fabrics.
ReplyDeleteConsidering that we have a little one on the way I need to pop over to see all the sweet baby things. Thanks for the link and have a sweet Saturday!
ReplyDeleteI don't know of a little one on its way anymore...there were a bunch just born...but I found that JoAnn Fabric was practically giving away counted cross stitch blankets for newborns. All I have to provide is the work.
ReplyDeleteYour fabric is so fun!
Oh how cute! And a long way from just throwing a clean cloth diaper over one's shoulder. ,-)
ReplyDeleteMmmm, do they use cloth diapers, anymore? Anywhere? If not, they'd not know what I refer to, now would they? ,-)
Found a new place for Backgrounds! And she offers some simple ones, and pink ones. So you just know, I had to "Play." :-)

What beautiful fabric's.
ReplyDeleteWhoever gets these will be very lucky!
I have some blankets that my father in laws Mother made for him when he was a baby. They are so beautiful and I look forward to giving them to my children for their babies someday. :)

Such a crazy busy weekend here that I missed this and Sundays' post. I loved the tulips and spring flowers video in the Sunday post above. I hope to be able to visit Amsterdam someday in Spring to see the tulip fields and windmills and ride down the canals.
ReplyDeleteI love your new header...did you make it? You are getting talented with photoshop!
More first time grandmothers joining the club!! :-) It's so exciting.
Since I don't have a machine, and can't sew, I bought many cute things from ETSY for Leo. There are so many wonderful things for babies now! I just had fun making up a basket of cute things for him for Easter.
Congrats to the expecting member of John's family!
