How wonderful are the colors of autumn. All these photos were taken in my own yard with the exception of the orange pumpkin of another sort. (Edited to Add: OOPS! The top center photo is a corner of the library below.) When I saw that orange Chevy, I had to take its photo!
The photo below was taken at a small library in a neighboring community — that's my hubby coming out the door. The trees around it show the level of color that we are seeing now so we have awhile longer before we see peak color. How long before you'll be seeing peak color?
Mary, thank you for all that you do to make *Mosaic Monday* happen. It's become the highlight of my week! You can visit Mary at Little Red House where you'll be treated to her wonderful photography any time.
Your mosaic is so pretty! Love the fall colors.
ReplyDeleteThat's the library? OH WOW! I love it! I would love to visit this library some day! I think I will make a mosaic for tomorrow! Thanks for reminding me! I love your Autumn colors! ♥
ReplyDeleteVee, I like the look of the library! And the truck is great!
ReplyDeleteStill haven't learned doing a mosaic yet....someday!
Vee-I love your mosaic--& your library! And that orange truck fits right in. We are just beginning to see a twinge of color. I live in southern Indiana--68 miles from the Kentucky border. We have had a hot, dry summer but they say we still could have a lot of color. Ever heard of Brown County, Indiana? We are about 18 miles from there & it is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful mosic, the colours are fantastic. My hubby would love the orange pickup.
ReplyDeleteLove the library, looks like something out of a book :) and such a pretty fall mosaic! Cool truck, in fine Autumn color!
ReplyDeleteThis is great. How clever of you to include the orange truck. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, and library, but I love that old truck!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely mosaic. Beautiful colors of autumn.
ReplyDeleteOh Vee, there are some wonderful sights in your neck of the woods! I love that orange truck! thanks for sharing at MM. :)
ReplyDeleteVee, the images are all lovely. It's the leaf that is amazing. We just don't get color like that down here and I truly miss it.
ReplyDeletei'm so excited to see the beginnings of
ReplyDeletecolor there. one of the highlights of my
life was my one year in new hampshire
and that glorious fall color!
your mosaic is beautiful.
I think the orange truck is just the right shade for autumn and adds a special touch to your mosaic.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty mosaic..
ReplyDeleteNo color changes out here in West Texas yet..
Very Pretty! No Fall color here now. It has been such a dry and hot Summer I don't think we will have much color in this area. If we do get any, it won't start until mid Oct.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mosaic and I love your new header, Vee! Your library looks wonderful. Our trees are very green ...autumn color seems to come later and later evey year.
ReplyDeletePretty, Vee! Yes, ya'll are having some color. I've actually seen a couple of slight changes in the trees. Some color before the others. And the wild sweet potato vines are blooming their little hearts out! I think this is the time of year that they bloom the best!
ReplyDeleteVery cute orange truck!!
We won't see full color til the first week or two of November...
Our colors aren't changing quite yet..but your are fantastic! The orange truck? I want one!
ReplyDeleteHi Vee,
ReplyDeleteEnjoying catching up on your week, it seems you have been busy getting ready for fall too. Your decorations are pretty
Your mosaic is beautiful as always, but especially this one , I do enjoy the fall and all of the beautiful colors it give us, Oh how I would so love to have that orange truck.Your fall scenery is beginning to show forth too, lucky you, the drought has taken a lot of our leaves off the trees.
Enjoy your week!!
Sue
Your mosaic is so pretty! I love all the fall colors. This is the time of year I get very homesick for the place where I grew up on the east coast. We had a very cool summer but we were over 100 degrees this weekend...I guess we are late bloomers to summer!
ReplyDeleteLove your mosaic & that orange chevy! I'm envious of your fall color...We are still in the 90's with a "cold front" of 70 moving in, so it will probably be another month before it feels like fall around here :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute library! So inviting for visiting....for all kids, big and small.
ReplyDeleteHere in the south we won't see much change for a long time yet.
Great pictures of autumn. Our trees in Okla. are just now getting a tinge of orange.
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic photos are so pretty, and adding the orange truck was such a touch of whimsy! I've always wanted to visit New England in the fall- the magazine pics I've seen make it look so much prettier than where we are. It will not be a colorful fall here- it's been much too hot and dry. The leaves are already falling, but have not yet turned. Thanks for visiting from Mary's party. :-)

What a beautiful autumn mosaic. That orange truck was the perfect touch and what a fabulous library!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Cathie
What a wonderful mosaic. I am in total love with that orange truck! I want it. Wouldn't it be fun to flea market in that?
ReplyDeleteA lovely fall mosaic and the orange truck is a great addition. The library is just too cute.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! We have many falling leaves and a few trees with color.
ReplyDeleteBecky K.
I do hope you will take a weekly library picture so we can see Autumn's grand approach complete.
ReplyDeleteWe have at least another month or so before we see peak color here, maybe a little sooner since it has been so hot things are beginning to burn and turn. But today, cool fresh air out of the North, windows open airing the house, and hopes of using some giant campfire marshmallows over the fire pit soon.
ReplyDeleteLaughing at your comment on my post today - mules living in a haunted house will never win your mother over to understanding blogging!
Have a great day!!!
P.S. Its me again, forgot to mention that I love the mosaic but I am crazy about that truck! It is my dream truck only I want it in green or red.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful...we have cooler temps..but not the color! Thanks for sharing your fall colors
ReplyDeleteOh Vee, how beautiful! Your colors are just wonderful. We are anxiously awaiting the colors of fall appear here. We have hope as a cold front has ushered in the first breezes of autumn just today.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Jen
I'm a little late on the west coast here, to tune in to your Mosaic Monday. I'm so enjoying the fall colors from your part of the country as you post them! We are a little behind you in the turn of seasons...or is it that we don't have the same trees with such brilliant, colorful hues of golds and reds?
ReplyDeleteOh that is a beautiful mosaic. . .we have nothing here yet. .it is just so late. . I've resorted to using photos from other years tso decorate the blog.
ReplyDeleteOur leaves are beginning to turn and fall as if by magic, since it seems just a day or two ago they were all clinging to the limbs for all they are worth! Fall's magic is swiftly upon us and we finally have blessed rain! Love the photos, they are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSandi
Your mosaic is lovely, Vee. I want to thank you for the verse you put up yesterday. It's been one of my favourites for a long time - encouraging me when I need it most.
ReplyDeleteFrom a smouldering wick,
What a lovely mosaic! How lucky you were to get a photo of that orange truck. Lovely library too. It almost looks like a castle with the treatment on the roof. I think it will be another 2-3 weeks before peak color here.
ReplyDeleteWonderful fall photos! The truck is cool. It is slowly turning fall colors around here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a peaceful and beautiful visit! I clicked on the background music and just enjoyed....
ReplyDeleteWe won't get peak color for another 3 or 4 weeks!
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying your colours...and waiting for ours to catch up. Love your mosaic...with it's happy oranges!
ReplyDeleteThe aroma of a fall morning is evident in your photos! Thanks for posting them. Cheryl
