A Haven for Vee

Saturday, October 2, 2010

Oh, Hello...

My name is Molly and I'm Vee's little sister. Don't ask. Anyway, I'm the latest member of the family to show up. Don't ask. And I'll be here as long as John and Vee allow me to stay. Don't ask. I think that Vee likes me, but she's worried about Fioré. I really can't imagine why. So what if the dumb cat likes to hang out in the basement, under the cabinet, behind the wall?

I did arrive with a few issues; namely, that I like to lick and chew. Can I help it if I find my paws and knees especially tasty? Anyway, I'm going to the vet this morning. He is not my favorite person, but I might wag my tail just for good measure.

It seems to have worked with John. Even if Vee isn't very sure of my stay, John thinks that I'm all right. I hang out with him whenever I can.

Vee told me to tell you to have a great Saturday and a fun weekend!

  6. Hmmmm, I'd like to ask anyway....

She's a cutie, and from the look on John's face - she'll be around for awhile.

  7. Poor Fioré!!!

First she has to put up with Nan's cat.

Now she has to put up with Mom's dog. -le sighhhhhhh- Which I suppose, is not allowed in Mom's new "digs".

    Poor Fioré!!!

Sooooo, did I get it right?

  15. Oh dear. Well, at least all is good with John. You might need to watch a few episodes of "The Dog Whisperer". Everything you need to know about dealing with a frisky canine.

Hope you are well and would LOVE to meet you in Freeport some day. Used to go there outlet shopping when I was a teenager. David and I want to do a Maine trip some time we are out in NB as I've told him it's beautiful. Love the coastal bits, and a state I would choose in my top 5 for sure if I had to pick somewhere to live in the USA.

  18. Oh my gosh, look how happy John looks with that dog sitting next to him. I think that Molly is a keeper. You can have him work with her on her issues. That is a CUTE DOG.

  21. I have a little nervous dog with chewing problems--In fact she looks just about the same size at that cute Molly!
I found these great rolled up flavored rawhides at Target. They are about 1/2" around and when my other dog, Dudley, walks around with one in his mouth, it looks just like he has a cigar! lol Rikki loves them and they have helped her channel that nervous energy.

  22. Hi Molly! You are just as cute as can be! Now find out what is causing your itchies. We cannot have any food with grains. Sweet potato and lamb is good and makes us feel full and comfy.

    hugs,

  23. How precious! That face can really steal your heart! I hope that the vet gave you some insight on how to eliminate the nervous chewing.

  24. Molly is really cute! I hope she has been on her best behavior and that Fiore has come up from the basement to reclaim her favorite spots in the house!
