This has been the sweetest day where we turned off the air conditioning, opened up the windows and doors and let the birdsong, fresh air, sunshine, and cooler breezes waft through.
We watched the Federer-Murray game at Wimbledon (I'll not spoil) and Princess Kate smiled right at me. Oh, yes, she did!
Told ya!

Stay cool and have a great week...
What a wonderful mosaic. We still have air on here in NC. It was in the 90's today.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for the other outcome in the tennis match....
Hugs,
Penny
We are still cooking here in the south, hoping for some cooler weather soon. Love the mosiac
ReplyDeleteBeen breaking all time heat records here. You know it has been hot when you are looking forward to 90 degrees! :)
ReplyDeleteLove to watch Wimbledon, especially when Federer is playing.
Your collage is so pretty, Vee, as is your blog design. The windows are all open here as well. It's so much nicer that way!

Vee, your flowers look lovely. It is way too hot and humid here to open any windows. Sounds like your weather is wonderful. Beautiful photos, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful mosaic Vee. Valerie
ReplyDeleteSure would love to open my windows! But thankful for as mild as the weather was up to this horrendous H and H (heat and humidity). If you crocheted your blue and white, we have that granny square motif in common!
ReplyDeleteVee, this is a lovely mosaic. I am envious of your cooler air! GA is still struggling with heat and drought. Wishing you a nice week.
ReplyDeleteShe is absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGlad more reasonable weather has found you and me both. But...we will be hitting 100 mid week. And probably will send that heat along to you for next weekend.
ReplyDeleteOpen windows and perfect summer weather here too Vee. Your gardens are looking colourful and peaceful; bet that chair's a good place for reading!

I'm jealous. I won't be opening windows until November!!!! Love your mosaic ... all the pretty flowers, the gorgeous guilt and looks like crochet and adorable little dog. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed by visit here!!! Delightful pictures!! Have a grand week! Cathy
ReplyDeleteI like your home and garden. Enjoy your week:)
ReplyDeleteI think she IS smiling at me, too! I love that quilted pillow! I need to find an old quilt to make some comfy pillows! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThis was a most charming mosaic, Vee! I saw both Murray and Federer play last year at the US Open. Both were spectacular players! I was hoping Murray would win for his home country..and to keep Kate smiling :)
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures and love the mosaic because I get to see MORE of them!
ReplyDeleteNice to hear you can open your windows! We sit outside some but probably won't open the house up til well into September!
Well look at you! are girlfriendly with Kate!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cool inviting mosaic! Love it. Glad you could open the windows and enjoy the breeze!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteKim,USA
What a gorgeous mosaic. I could just curl up there and let summer happen!
ReplyDeleteVee, your day sounds delightful! Oh, how I love open windows and cool breezes and birdsong! (There were NO open windows here today...but there is the promise of significantly cooler temperatures for the coming week. One only can hope that the weather prognosticators are correct!)
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is beautiful and inviting. I am imagining myself sitting on that blue chair with the charming patchwork pillow...feeling those breezes and smelling the fresh air. Maybe I'll step outside for a stroll through the lovely yard...after my catnap. Sigh...
I see her looking at you. A very nice mosaic.Love that blue afghan.

Wonderful set of images, beautifully arranged.
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is a delight. I feel as though I could just walk right in, sit myself down in that chair and get settled for a lovely visit with you.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Vee.
Vee, your home and garden mosaic is very lovely and inviting. I'm happy that you have such great weather. But I'll confess to a huge dose of envy! It is still hot and humid and DRY here.
ReplyDeleteI watched the men's Wimbledon final, too. I was glad of the outcome although the other one winning would have been nice for the obvious reason. Kate looked beautiful, but I really loved seeing Federer's twin daughters...so cute!
Have a wonderful week!
Yahoo...turn OFF the a.c. and let in a breeze...I hear ya! Sweet photos, love the quilt~
ReplyDeleteI love your mosaic Vee! Beautiful. What a day and week this is going to be with 'natural' air conditioning. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI believe she did smile right at you! Your mosaic is so pretty Vee. Everything looks so inviting and cozy! We turned off our "room" air conditioner yesterday. Our home is not able to have central air....thank goodness we have a pool. We are enjoying this cooler weather!
ReplyDeletemosaic is so fresh looking and inviting - love that comfy chair -love the photos..
ReplyDeleteHugs, for this happy day!
You turned off the AC.
ReplyDeleteJust the sound of that makes me long for cooler days. We won't be turning ours off for months now, but I am determined not to wish the summer away longing for it.
At least not too much...
Your mosaic is wonderful!
And your Sunday post with the path to the water was just gorgeous to me. I love the passage, and I love that path.
Another beautiful mosaic!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are so vibrant and pretty.
How I would love to be able to turn off the A/C for a few days.
Love that mosaic...it's a tie for me between the quilted pillow and the dog! :)
ReplyDeleteWe've been in a heat wave and your mosaic cooled me off...
I hope to open my windows tonight. I love your mosaic!
ReplyDeleteYou are right...she is smiling right at you!
ReplyDeleteLovely home and garden mosaic! As for AC...we still have not invested in it. There are moments when it would come in handy though...like the past few days.
Your mosaic is really charming and I love the little quilted pillow in the center, how sweet.
ReplyDeleteI have probably shared this before, but I adore the whole monarchy thing, and have since I was a child in the 50's. I think Kate is so beautiful and has added a touch of glamor back into the family~
It's a perfect day for me when you don't need heat or AC! Lovely mosaic and what an honor to have Princess Kate smile at you ;>)))
