Thank you! It looks as if your day is beginning great. The gingerbread tea is a new one to me. I love chai tea so will have to try gingerbread. I've been enjoying my new "Victoria" magazine, too. I hope to find time to work on placemat purses again today and I'm going to help with the hospital auxiliary's fundraiser, Books Are Fun. Happy Friday!
I picked up a pack of 'pumpkin spice' bagels by Thomas. Wonder what the chances are of finding the cranberry English muffins! I've never seen that tea; even the box is pretty! I'll be back! Debbie
I am so jealous of this enticing AND short post. I try to do this and it just seems I go on and on and on! Relax and enjoy your day! Dawn (Beneath the Surface)
Ohhhhh... Please critique Victoria's "Holiday Bliss." I got my new Victoria in the mail. But have not sent for the "Bliss" one. :-)
Is it a compilation of old Victoria pictures, like others have been?
Gentle hugs, "It is the glory and the worry of heavy laden boughs, the preparation of the pantry for winter. It is the bloom of the land, preserved." ~Amy Machamer
On a scale of 1–10, I'd give it a 6.5 because it is a review of former pictures and recipes as far as I can tell, which is fine. The other reason for the 6.5 is that it is thin.
I love those Celestial teas! A morning like this sounds heavenly! I am up and out the door kind of lady these days... Hope that changes soon! Thanks for sharing!
I wish those were available here, in the middle of nowhere. They look delicious! Maybe I'll see if I can find them on Amazon. They're also a grocery store now, did you hear? Ha!
Now that looks like my kind of day! But while I do like tea, I'm afraid a tall glass of Pepsi might win out. Somehow saying Pepsi and crumpets doesn't sound right, does it? LOL!! Have a wonderful weekend!
I love the comfy feel of this picture, makes me want to curl up with a good book or magazine! The English muffins look delightful, and I love herbal tea - so glad the holiday flavors have arrived in the stores!
What a pleasant scene you've evoked. It's so cozy and warm - I love spending time with tea and a good magazine. Are you enjoying the new version of Victoria magazine? I have a huge collection of the old ones and tend to recycle them month by month. The new ones are just different. But perhaps I should try again - it's been a few years.
Looks like the makings for a very pleasant day indeed. I love those cranberry english muffins. I thought they had quit making them. Will have to be on the lookout for them. I missed yesterday's post so now I'm off to see what I missed.
Vee, I saw the tea this week at the store and almost got some, but I do have Celestial Orange Mandarin, which is so good. And I DID treat myself to the very same magazine!! Great minds thinking alike, I guess! Wow. Your previous post was wonderful. Wanting to hear more!
I finally got back to leave you a note. My computer has been so slow that It wouldn't load your page. Yes, we do have lots of the same friends. I do not know why I haven't been by to visit you. I am thinking that your town already has some of my favorite people living there. :) Your picture is beautiful I really liked your post about the pillows. So nice to meet you and I hope to get better acquainted. Oh and the You do know the Sue I mentioned in my post. It Sue at Pear Tree. Kim from My Field of Dreams.
Ummm, your tea and Cranberry Muffin looks sooo good. I've never had a Cranberry English Muffin but I sure will look for them now.
At the risk of being run out of Blogland on a rail, I don't much like Victoria. I'm so sorry...I have tried and tried and tried to like it...but...alas, I just don't. I like Country Living and Southern Living so much more so those are what I take.
I'm cold and I wish I had that cute, plaid, fleece/flannel jacket/shirt I see the sleeve of.....
Hello! I have seen your comments at a few of the blogs I follow so thought I'd pop by for a visit...sooo glad I did. : ) Where did you get those muffins, and I just am going to have to find that tea...Oh my it looks good. Your pillow post was wonderful. What a gift! Glad I came by, I have a feeling I will be back. Have a wonderful week-end!
My kind of day, Vee, and Ginger spice tea sounds great too.Have you tried Celestial Season's Candy Cane Lane, yummy I am drinking it right now. You ask about the Pansies. If we don't have a lot of extreme weather they do fine and look great, even survived our one little snowfall last year. ~smile~ little johnny jump-ups are a favorite of mine too. Hugs, Sue
I am with Diane Vee, I love Chai, the gingerbread one is new on me, I know that starbucks do a special gingerbread latte, that my daughters love. The lace curtain on the living room door is decorative, the door is directly outdoors so in winter I use a decorative net curtain to create a more intimate space. Hope this answers your query. Big hugs, Margie.
First of all, I am delighted that you stopped by for a visit...and that you lingered and stayed to chat! It is always nice to meet a new friend...and even nicer to find that you have common ground. (We don't live on common ground though...I've never been to Maine--just dreamed of it!--but we do live in the East.) Your kind words were like "apples of gold in pictures of silver."
At the risk of making you regret ever mentioning those luscious-looking English muffins, I am going to add my own yummmmm to all the others'. I even did a bit of cyber research to find out where I could buy these in my area, and can you believe that I shopped at one of the listed stores as recently as yesterday?! Why did they not jump out at me as I walked by?
I hope your day continued as pleasantly as it began.
