A wonderful gift of the weekend was my sister's being home. She brought me a bundle of lavender, which I have split up and placed all over the house. Hmmmm...lovely!
I am uncertain about Mosaic Monday this week, though I am linking to
Mary at Little Red House.
Lovely scent in your home!! I love the little delft pitcher! How nice that you could have a sister visit.
ReplyDeleteI love the design of this mosaic. Very nice. I was pulling weeds around my lavender bushes today and the scent was fabulous...
ReplyDeleteYes, that Delft pitcher is fabulous! Enjoy your sister.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week ~

How pretty! Lavender is my favorite scent. I need to cute some of our blooms and hang them. Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteI love lavender. How fun that your sister is visiting! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteSisters are the best and always understand exactly makes us truly happy - hope you two enjoy your time together!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful mosaic and lovely lavender. I need to order some...or find out where to buy it! I have a few sachets but I would love a bundle. And yes...now that I look in my window, I see the little Christmas wreaths. I just loved the little boats so much that I leave them out all the time. You always see the details!
ReplyDeleteI love lavender. There was a lavender booth at the Farmer's Market last week. I picked up a bottle of lavender mosquito repellant. Don't know if it really works, but I'll smell good! :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteYour home must smell heavenly. I love the scent of lavender. Hope you had a nice visit with your sister. Have a happy week ahead.
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaics.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like the smell of lavender-a sweet gift from your sis
Lavender is a favorite of mine. Beautiful mosaic.
ReplyDeleteI love lavender! I have a entire Pinterest board devoted to it.
ReplyDeleteOH! my what a beautiful job you did with the mosaic, you placed the lavender in your home so beautifully too! Lavender is one of my of my favorite herbs, I too will be gathering this week!

Lavender is a wonderful scent...love it! Your mosaic is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's so nice to have your sister visiting! And what a lovely thing to bring...lavendar is beautiful as well as lusciously aromatic. We grow a bit in our herb garden, but it never grows very large. I harvest it nonetheless and enjoy a bunch hanging on my bowl rack right beside my computer cabinet where I can enjoy the scent.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to have a sister visit and lavender too. Your photo montage is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really cool mosaic. I'll be cutting bundles of my lavender to bring in soon and when the scent is gone, I dab lavender oil on the flower heads.
ReplyDeleteYou home must have smelled like Heaven. Sandie
ReplyDeleteThese lavenders are always beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAh -- I can almost smell the fragrance!
ReplyDeleteFun with lavender. I love the way you've highlighted the long slender stalks, especially in the photo against the window.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty mosaic!
ReplyDeleteI have a large lavender bed and I love to weed it - I just have to dodge the bees!
Lavender - my absolute favorite. I still have a few stray blooms on one of my bushes. I have been missing for a couple of weeks from Mosaic Monday, so was great to link up again today - though late, as the power has been off all day! Wild, wet, windy winter here today.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.
I bet it smells heavenly with the lavender scattered throughout your house! I planted some for the first time this year and hope to have to some dry :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a thoughtful gift from your sister. Gorgeous mosaic! How wonderful the fragrance in your home must be.
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this post...with it's lovely fragrance? I was planning to snip some stems of lavender today...to bring in. Now I am reminded!
ReplyDeleteI was just looking a clump of my lavender that is spilling over into the driveway. I think that means I get to cut some! Your mosaic is so pretty interspersed with the lavender sprigs.
