I will be the gladdest thing under the sun! I will touch a hundred flowers and not pick one.

Sun!
I'm going to have me a day now let me tell you. So much to do and I even bought more flowers in anticipation to include a Heavenly Blue Morning Glory (a started plant). Yahoo!
First, though, I have a baseball game to attend. I'm taking a traveling chair, bottled water, a camera, and bug spray. Definitely bug spray.
Have yourself a delightful weekend.
So pleased for you! Enjoy your sunny day :)

ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like a bunch of cloudy days and rain to help us enjoy the sun that much more. Have fun.... we are off to a concert in the local park.

Enjoy the sunshine...the ballgame...and the garden! Bug spray? I'm thinking it has been too cold for the bugs over here so far.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that sunshine! We still have gray skies here, but they are saying that the sun may make a rare appearance tomorrow! :)

ReplyDeleteHappy for you Vee! We had a mixed bag here today but the next few are going to be sunny. It's great isn't it? I hope the bugs don't eat you up and that your team wins.
ReplyDeleteHope the day was all you wanted and then some!
ReplyDeleteWho won the game, Vee? My husband and I did chores around the house --cleared out the gutters and changed the oil in the car. Life back to normal! :)
ReplyDeleteDid you plant those pretty blue Morning Glories by your mailbox again this year? Thay were so beautiful last year!
Hope your day was as much fun as reading your blog. You sounded so chipper!! A bright, sunny day can make us feel happy, too!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to come by and say "Hi", and catchup on what you have been doing this week. I know you enjoyed the baseball game, what fun to watch little ones play baseball, and the camera will sure get a work out , as well as the bug spray.~smile~
ReplyDeleteLoved the table runner, I ned to stop and make one for my tale, but other projects have my name on them.
The photo storage is something i need to keep my eye on as i am always running low. i think I might need to come back and re-read this post, and comments. I do agree with Cheryl, you are so helpful in your tips, and I am always so thankful for your help.
You are the "best", I do adore you, Vee!!
Love,
Sue
p.s. I am so glad you got a break from all that rain, it does make green lush lawns as I saw that your lawn was.
So where are you going to plant the flowers...? Make sure you show us..
ReplyDeleteHugs..
Morning glories are lovely, but they also spread fast and quick. We had one plant which ended up 50 ft. long, 8 ft tall (higher in the area where it grew up into a tree) and it crept into the grass. The vines are very difficult to cut. You can do a Tarzan swing on them! Keep it small and watch it doe snot get out of hand like ours did. we ended up getting rid of it, which took over a month to do. My husband swore no more vining plants.
