Are flowers blooming in your world? They're not in mine; I so need a flower ministry. Fortunately, all over Blogdom, flowers are in bloom. If you have blooming flowers, hope that you'll share — often!

No flowers here yet but I did notice the little green blades from the crocus sprouting up and the jonquils are up and buds are forming to burst into little sunny flower faces soon. I will post them especially for you as soon as they appear! I hope God sends some bright blossoms you way today!
ReplyDeleteNo flowers here Vee...only the pretty tulips I see when I walk into the grocery store...they have them all lined up by the entry way waiting.....I am going to plant scads of flowers this year as soon as it gets warm enough....
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Robin
I echo your blooming sentinments...oops that sounds funny don't it...LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty view that is!
I read your plea for flowers Vee...My porch is alive with tiny little spring flowers and wonderful pink Hydrangea...First thing in the morning, I look out my kitchen window at them...it is like having desert before breakfast....I will post pictures later today especially for you...Dee Dee
ReplyDeleteDeedee, thanks! I'll be sure to stop by!
ReplyDeleteYou know I don't have any myself, right now. But I'll send links to any/all I find. In case there are some, you don't already read. :-)

No flowers here yet either, but it won't be long now. Lots of bulbs starting to come up and there are buds on the forsythia. I'll will be posting flowers when they are here. I am so looking forward to warm weather and spring.
ReplyDelete'morning Vee...
ReplyDeletejust got 3 inches of new white stuff overnight....off out to shovel.
Nope...we won't be seeing anything green and growing 'round here 'til about....uhm.... gee, depends on whether we get a big snowfall and if it stays around...but could be May. I just look out; check what is growing when the snow melts. Not much else to do about it.
When it is not great outside weather...I play inside.... or go out and build a snowman....
I'll toss you a few petals from the quote garden...

It drives me crazy that everyone is getting flowers! We don't have stuff appear in our garden until late May, if we're lucky. Did you know those Swedes have stuff growing? I thought it was cold there?!?!?
ReplyDeleteI am okay, thanks for asking! Actually I have been rather sick with sinusitis and busy at work so not posting much, and having headaches but my spirits are generally high. My interior design class is very boring, so I haven't blogged about it. I might one day, but didn't want to complain...
How are you? Stay well (and warm). We are getting snow again today...
I just so enjoy your blog, Vee! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteAwww you guys are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteLOL, Tammy! That does sound funny. You've been hanging out with Miss Sandy too much.
Thank you, Judy. I love a good quote even better than a flower, believe it or not.
M-N, watch out or you're going to get a MWAH! :D
Terri, thanks for letting me know how you've been doing. The class is boring? Ohhhh, I do want to know about it!
Well, some of us will have to abide because May is about right for us, too. And that's a good long way off.
Yes, I am in shock that flowers are blooming in Sweden and in BC and all sorts of places that I wouldn't have expected. Guess I was in need of an education about climate.
Ah, as I was looking out my laundry room window this morning I saw that the buds on my daffodils are fattening up.
ReplyDeleteDoffodils starting to come out, helibores in flower and grape hyacinths abound. But the garden is still full of dead sticky type things. With buds!
ReplyDeleteOh give me strength...dAffodils!
ReplyDeleteOh Vee, my garden is frozen over! Just yesterday I was looking out my window thinking what & where I would plant this spring. Today it is 17 degrees so I am going to the market to buy a single rose for my kitchen table as a reminder of what is to come :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a bouquet of flowers right here -- your blogger friends have made sure of that. I hope all is well with you ...
Kirs ~
Hi Vee, No flowers here yet but some trees have buds and bulbs are pushing up through the ground. The other day, I saw a tree full of robins...at least 30! Spring's right around the corner. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteNot yet Vee dear...it IS STILL WINTER! Sorry, been hearing so much about how spring is around the corner and me knowing that Phil saw his shadow plain as day. I hope you have flowers soon!
ReplyDeletehugs
Sandi
Hi Vee,
ReplyDeleteNo flowers here yet. We have another month or so...I get my flower fix by bringing roses or tulips home from the grocery store once a week. I figure I am worth the $7.99....
Hugs,
Penny
No flowers yet in NY, but I love all the springtime colors in the catalogs and magazines coming into my mail box everyday! The fact that the days are getting longer hours of sunshine makes me happy too!
ReplyDeleteHugs, PaT
Oh, boy, I could use some flower ministry here too. Even the bloom on my zebra plant fell off this week.
ReplyDeleteI love the clock in your header. Is it a "groaner" or does it have brass works? My husband is an amateur horologist so I always notice old clocks.
Alice, I don't know what kind of clock it is. I have seen it, but I don't remember. It's a picture that my niece took at a living history museum. I am using it as my header since it reminds me of my current "waiting for spring" mindset.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my site. I have lots and lots of flowers year around, and in a few weeks there will be pastures of bluebonnets as far as the eye can see. If you want, you can always catch plenty of flower pictures from my bluebonnet links.
ReplyDeleteOn the flip side...I never get snow, and your snow pictures are just the thing for our warm and humid days that last long after your first snowfall. Thanks for sharing your "bounty" of snowy wonderland. It is a joy for me to see.
