Love is in the Air
Brrrr...it's been mighty cold lately. As I recently told Linds, even the cat has taken a lover.
Now I knew that The Cat in the Hat meant t.r.o.u.b.l.e., but this is ridiculous!

On another note entirely, I just wanted to mention the wonderful posts that LaTeaDah has been doing at Gracious Hospitality about all things tea, but most especially I have enjoyed reading about the history of tea and the health benefits of tea. Perhaps I've discovered a secret that I've long sought...see her January 10th post. You'll also note that there is a button linking to a sweet give-away right there in my sidebar. Don't miss it!
Do stay warm out there...

That is SO funny. :)
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking yesterday how much I miss my Storm Girl kitty. In cold weather, she used to jump on me and curl up which kept both of us warm.
HOw sweet...but perhaps your kitty needs to meet our handsome Oliver. Chelsea did an interview with him and it is posted on her It's About Friends blog.
ReplyDeleteThat Cat in the Hat is just a bit of a shady character...Ha!
I just simply love cats. Such a sweet post!
ReplyDeleteYour kitty knows the secret...a hat will keep her warm. Out here she'd be needing an umbrella more than a hat these days!
ReplyDeleteLove your kitty...she's a doll baby, but then I am rather fond of Calicoes! I'll bet she's particular with whom she associates, too. Bat Girl just has to be the boss!
ReplyDeleteAnd, talking tea...I have just found a new tea, it's a green tea with pomegranate and I just love it's natural sweetness (I don't do sugar in tea). I'm always on the lookout for new teas to try...Lipton's Black Pearl is a fave afternoon tea...
Awwwwwwwwwww, that is so cute. A purrrrfect Lover for the kittie. No *surprises* will come later, from this sweet romance.
ReplyDeleteMethinks your kitty would agree with my entry of today... :-)

What a beautiful tortie you have! :)
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking and thinking about LaTeaDah! Wonderful of you to share her post, I'm going to head over to visit when I'm done here :)....do I have to go to work? I just want to blog all day :)
A wonderful Monday to you Mz Vee :)
Vee,
ReplyDeleteI can always count on your for grin! Love that your cat loves Cat In The Hat! I have some pics up today of Sophie and her entourage. What's up with pet posts today, have we come to the end of blogging and have nothing more news worthy? OK, maybe I am over reacting but there does seem to be a theme today. Have a snuggly warm day!
Look at your kitty! Isn't that the most precious thing! LOL!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty kitty!! Thanks for sharing your cutie!!! :)
ReplyDeleteVee thats so cute!! My boy cat is neutered..but he has a "thing" for fluffy bathrobes...if I leave one in a heap on my bed or the floor he is in Heaven!
ReplyDelete(I use the vintage flower frogs to hold my vintage postcards when I display them....)
Hugs,
Robin
aww how cute. Our herd befriended an old Pikachu lifesize pillow...however one of ours got a little "too friendly" with it(although he was neutered) and we had to throw it out. :-(
ReplyDeleteTee hee...there is no rhyme or reason to a calico's thinking!
ReplyDeleteYou have an indoor cat? Oh, and here I thought we could be friends!! haha!
ReplyDeleteThat anonymous comment was from me. Don't know why it didn't accept my info!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes - we can still be friends.
Love the cat on the hat. . .makes me break out in memorized script.
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious kitty! Sooo sweet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful kitty! I'm a cat lady, didn't you know...??
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Vee! We are in for more snow. I know I'm crazy, but I love it! For now.
This is so cute! Pets are such a joy!

The cat in the hat has a lot to offer, you know. But yeah, you're right...he does spell t.r.o.u.b.l.e. (But young love usually does, right?) lol
ReplyDeleteKari
Theodor Geisel would be very happy with that photo. Dana :)
ReplyDeleteYour cat is so sweet. I have four cats and I have just rescued a dog a week ago and one of my cats seems to have taken a liking to him. She has spent the week following him all over.
ReplyDeleteHi Vee!
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest thing! The Cat In The Hat must have another side, a sweet romantic one! You just never know do you?
Hugs,Sherry
Hi there! I just came over from Kari and Kijsa. The pictures of your cat is way too cute. One of the few nice things about cold weather is the adorable way our kitties huddle together. Sometimes they sleep nose to nose which is almost too much cuteness for a person to take. :)
