Wait! There was a beautiful sunset last night that lasted for at least three minutes.
Right. Don't look too long! It'll make you ill.
Say, this reminds me... (Dangerous words in this house.)
Anyway, this reminds me of the time last summer when I was taking pictures of ducks. It was in my Imagery by Kimberly phase. Let me see, I have that in my file somewhere...
See? There they are all nicely lined up in front of the guardrail. But wait a minute! What's that to the left floating in the golden rod?
Blast! Didn't he go and decide to lift off just as I was about to get my ducks all in a row!
A pleasant October day to you...
This is so cute, Vee. :)
ReplyDeleteA happy October day to you, too!
Hugs,
Denise at Forest Manor
Happy day to you Vee!

-chuckle- Is it the rain, rain, rain, which is sapping our blogging mojo????? I'm reduced to report on yesterday's experiment, weather talk, and about one book. -sigh-
ReplyDeleteI get such a kick out of it, when I do a post, and find that someone else, is in the same groove. Make me feel ... Not alone. ,-)))))
And, we are both grabbing old photos of ours! Oh oh.. *Whooo-whooo-whoo-whoooooo.* Are we on the same wave length????
I know! That is SCARY, to you. -gigggles-
See? I am feeling better, already!! Thank you!
"Auntie"
Even when you say you've got nothing, you come up with a great post. Love the ducks!
ReplyDeleteCute! My kids were noticing the ducks this morning and pointing out the "flying V" they make. I guess I ought to be proud that even simple things can impress my teens sometimes. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeletehaha....ENJOY your day!
ReplyDeleteHappy October Vee, drizzling here today so I plan to put away the summer clothes and pull out the fall/winter ones.

I love your sense of humor, Vee...I'm still smiling and feeling happy and reflecting on how laughter is the best medicine.
ReplyDeleteOh sharing a simple pleasure...those make life just wonderful...fun post!
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike. I have a duck theme going this morning, too!

I love your Kimberly stage, hehehe.
ReplyDeleteSwans next?
Good Morning, Vee. Those ducks are cute as can be! I hope you and John have a day filled with many blessings. We are enjoying clouds and light rain today.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a wonderful, quiet autumn day!
ReplyDeleteAt our home...I HATE, and trust me that doesn't even come close to when my husband says..."Honey, have you seen __________?" Fear enters my body, I begin praying to God that he will find it, and that I won't spend the rest of the day looking in every crevice of this house, for who knows what that he can't find!"
ReplyDeleteBut as you can tell, I have made peace with it!!!!!
It's another sunny and warm day here Vee. And last night's sunset was spectacular here. I took about 50 pics of it! Of course I had to delete some. I'll be sharing them soon. How cute to see the ducks along the road. Enjoy this splendid fall day!
ReplyDeleteI hope your day is a good one Vee!
ReplyDeleteWell you can't beat watching ducks so the day was not wasted. Have another good one.
ReplyDeleteVee,
ReplyDeleteHere's the thing. You don't have to have something to say. We just like hearing your voice!
Have a great day Vee. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteStory of my life... but I don't have a terrific picture of it! Thanks for making me laugh this morning. I needed it!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
Always enjoy your wonderful photos, Vee. I often have nothing to say, sometimes I believe that happens so I can listen. ;-) xo
ReplyDeleteA cute pos--just saying hi! I used to read Kim's blog all the time -- one of the first when it was all about her cottage, which I've seen in person -- it's like passing by a famous point of interest.
ReplyDeleteI'll never get all my ducks in a row and I'll blame it partially on two kitties that I could cheerfully kick out in the street some days! As my daughter said last night, we've run out of places high enough to put things that they can't get into. Maybe ducks would be less trouble. :)
ReplyDeleteCute post and photos, Vee. See, you did find something to share!
Thank you for taking the time to post, anyway. Just making the special effort for us means a lot.
ReplyDeleteLove the ducks! How did you ever get wild ducks to stay put long enough to take a picture?!!
See you had something to share after all. : )
ReplyDeleteA happy October day to you!
Vee,
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me....
Dangerous words INDEED.
loved it,
S
Happy October day to you too.. This post made me smile. I once had the most glorious photo ready to capture, when a little girl ran right into the frame. Well, only I knew that it wasn't intentional.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy evening.
Karen
Delightful!! Sometimes we have to dip into the archives for new offerings.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Step away from the camera... LOL!
ReplyDeletelove the ducks in a row shot. so funny & cute too! (:
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to say hello and leave a few words for us is sometimes enough. Don't we all have photos like that - just missing the mark?
ReplyDeleteHope your day is fine.
Like Lorrie said...we all have a photos that have missed the mark! And they are good for a smile...for sure. Maybe one day we should host a blooper photo blog day.
