New Beginnings

Just looking at that picture takes my anxiety level down a notch or two. :) My plan for today is to spend a chunk of time reading in the coziest spot that I can find...it won't be quite as lovely as this, but I can dream, can't I? What'll I be reading? Let the Journey Begin: God's Roadmap for New Beginnings by Max Lucado.

You have the most restorative, relaxing Sunday, too!

  1. That looks like it came straight out of Traditional Home magazine :) It would be so nice to have a specific reading place in your house...

  2. Vee, in regard to your comment about spring, I checked to see where you lived. I grew up in a small town in New England. I remember being tortured by those long muddy, cold, icy springs as a kid. I remember feeling so house bound. Here in the Pacific Northwest, spring starts as early as Feb. on the eastern side of the state. I have had picnics in Feb. with my kids on a particularly warm 70 degree day. We are famous for our long mild growing season, with lots of sunshine. The only annoying thing that can wreck a spring day is the wind. I have never forgotten those glorious falls, and amazing winters of New England though. I loved the snow as a kid, and spring well, e e cummings has a good take on it in his poem Balloon Man… when the world is mud luscious
