Writing on Photos Using Paint—Photo Tutorial

The photos should speak for themselves...if not, email me. You can also click on each picture to enlarge and to read the directions as each one is named according to the step. Best wishes!

The Paint Program is found via the computer's START button... ETA: Judy has reminded me that if Paint has not been placed as a shortcut that you will find the program under "Accesories."

Once the eyedropper has been selected, one can select color either from within the photo itself as shown below (eyedropper tool has been circled in red to show up better)...

or choose the color from the palette as seen below.

Once the color has been selected by clicking on it, the color goes to the box on the left so that the color chosen is readily known.

  3. Good grief! I didn't know I had PAINT on my computer. In my defense, I only use a PC here at work. But now, who knows....I might use it more often!

Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. Who'da thunk it?

  6. So I rushed out to try it, Vee! My 'paint' was somewhat hidden...found under accessories. There's one more step that might help. The picture needs to have been re-sized before writing on it. My pictures are all saved full-size format...so my writing was teeny. But I will figure this out yet! You are a good teacher.

  10. Randey got me Photoshop for Christmas. I've opened it once. There's something about trying to figure out all that stuff by myself that sends me running in fear. lol I need a class, an actual class to learn this sort of stuff. YOUR directions are clear and concise...ever thought of teaching a photoshop kind of class??? I'd sure appreciate it and promise to be your number one student. lol
