Has ever one bouquet of tulips been so well documented? I adore them! I've been denying myself the pleasure of tulips for several weeks now. On Friday, I could take no more — the snow, the cold, no sign of spring — where
is she? Have
you seen her?
My recommendation for cheer? A five dollar bouquet of tulips. It'll do you good.
Linking to Mary's Mosaic Monday at
Little Red House. Thanks, Mary!
They are beautiful! Our rose bush has roses now so I have a small bouquet of roses in my kitchen! ♥ I know...I am spoiled living so far south! ♥
ReplyDeleteYour tulips are absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe've been seeing Spring for a few days now. Yesterday we had a record 86*..today we woke up to 41* with a high of 46*! But, that's the way it is in S.Arkansas!
I whole heartedly agree. I think at this time of the year and you are STILL having snow, tulips are in order!
ReplyDeleteYours are beautiful.
Hugs,
Penny
Beautiful photos...the tulips are the perfect accessory for spring longings...at least I'm longing for spring!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color and photos! Glad you gave in and brought some spring into your house!
ReplyDeleteVee, beautiful tulips and I love the cute vase with the chickies. Fresh flowers on the table always makes me happy. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous! Of course you had to buy them.
ReplyDeleteI have found that if I put my tulips in the garage or in the cool pantry overnight and then bring them out in the morning, they last a lot longer.
Your tulips are beautiful! Great shots of them! I do the same, it's such a nice to treat to get a bunch of tulips, always makes me smile :)
ReplyDeleteTulips are really so beautiful and the colors of yours are gorgeous!..Christine
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!! Works every time! Enjoy! They are beautiful
ReplyDeleteIf we were neighbors that vase might find its way to my house. LOl
Hugs,
Sue
I like the vase with the little chicks you have the pretty tulips in.
ReplyDeleteUntil flowers are ready in the garden, I usually buy a bouquet of something every other week.
Judith
Your tulips are beautiful & ...I want your vase! :) I try to buy a bouquet of tulips for the weekends when they are in season. I love fresh flowers in the house! Spring came here last week but then fooled us & we may have snow in a couple of days!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tulips, I love the color - well worth the money!!
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile! Tulips are so grin-worthy. I got a pot of them from a coworker a few weeks ago and photographed them too! (You can see them in my blog header) So picturesque a flower!
ReplyDeleteLove them dear Vee, and LOVE the chicky vase too.
ReplyDeleteI would've bought those gorgeous tulips for you had I known of your yearning.
Love,
Sharon
A well spent $5.00 for sure Vee! Enjoy. I love tulips and your mosaic is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteLovely tulips Vee. You made a better schoice than I did today as i listened to the farmer snow blowing the drifts on our driveway away. I opened a box of Christmas chocolates. Maybe I should look for tulips when I'm in town tomorrow. I will be surprised if I see any though. I'm still waiting for spring with great impatience!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Vee! Flowers do the heart good. You bought such pretty tulips.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on that one...have gone through a few bouquets of tulips already. Soon they will be blooming in the great outdoors. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteMay your tulips continue to bring you must spring cheer!
Oh, they are beautiful, Vee! Love your wreath behind them, too. When we were at the supermarket today, my husband bought me a pot of heather. I think he heard me whimpering about spring... :) Thanks for sharing at MM. :)
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful tulips, Vee. And I love the vase and the wreath you put together looks great in the background. Nice mosaic!
ReplyDeleteThose tulips are the perfect antidote for winter doldrums. Or blues. Or whatever you want to call the feeling of impatience with winter. Doesn't she know it's time to go?
ReplyDeleteLove the happy, bright feeling that tulips always awake in me.Yours did that too.
ReplyDeleteRosie
They are such a ray of sunshine!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Mosaic, Vee.
Hope your day is just awesome!
Good Morning Sweet Vee
ReplyDeleteYes, those tulips most definitely are saying spring! Love the two-tone color and your mosaics. Just caught-up on a few of your other posts too. You've been a busy gal.
Enjoy your week!
Leann
Love you...love your tulips...on my way to buy a bunch. :))

So beautiful, I will be off to buy tulips today. Spring has not really made an appearance here, it is cold and snowing.
ReplyDeleteI'm on my second bunch, both were a deep beautiful red!! How I love tulips...and no, I haven't seen spring, but I hear that she is just around the corner in our neck of the woods....if the forecast is correct, for once....
ReplyDeletehave a wonderful week,
Niki
My husband brought me in a batch and my first thought was now why don't I buy fresh flowers more often...so enjoyable. Yours are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your beautiful flowers. I really like the colors.
ReplyDeleteSorry your neighbor is having to deal with the flock of geese, as they are nasty and can ruin a lawn.
Have a great week.
Ah they are gorgeous. Some have sprouted out of the ground here, but I haven't seen any blooming yet.
ReplyDeleteOh, they are so beautiful! I haven't seen any bouquets of tulips in the market yet, but I will "for sure" look now. The daffodils sure are pretty though.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the red color of these with the golden tips.
The "honeymoon tulips" are sprouting and growing leaves in their special flower pots on the back porch. I am so eager for them to bloom! The kids couldn't have thought of a nicer gift (although I do love the lavender essential oil and special loose leaf teas and Dutch chocolates they brought as well).
Love

So cheerful - love the vase in the right pic!

Your tulips put a smile on this face, they are gorgeous, thank you!
ReplyDeleteVee,
ReplyDeleteMe too! I've been eyeing those babies up myself! My hyacinth is long gone.....
Beautiful!
