I missed last week's Mosaic Monday. Just found it today! Good grief. And I love Mosaic Mondays.
Nothing terribly inspiring this week, just a walk around the yard. I know that you'll be able to guess which two photos are my favorites.
1. He's doing the dishes! (I can not tell you how exciting it was to find that hubby was doing the dishes. Always a lovely peek inside to discover that.)
2. Purple wave petunias
3. Pink Columbine with Peony buds behind
4. Container Garden with Zinnia, herbs, and Lantana
5. Lavender phlox
7. Crimson azalea
8. Molly asking, "What'cha doin'?"
9. Deep purple columbine and one lonely iris. (So glad that they bloomed. I was pretty sure that I had some somewhere.)
10. Pink baby azalea
11. Decorative potato vine in my mother's old bike basket
Connecting to Mary's Little Red House. Hope that you have time to swing through and see some of the beautiful mosaics. It's always a treat.
Wonderful photos from around your yard. The flowers are gorgeous and a great shot of your hubby doing the dishes. My hubby dos dishes too. It is great!ReplyDelete
So pretty....love all the flowers, especially the lavender ones!ReplyDelete
You have a beautiful yard, such pretty flowers. Nice for the helping hand :)ReplyDelete
Love the peek into the kitchen. Yippee for hubby doing the dishes! The flowers are lovely Vee!ReplyDelete
Gorgeous! Love all the purple. I thought the image through the window was nice without the hubby doing dishes, but ... boy ... did you hit the jackpot! :D :D :DReplyDelete
Oh Vee, your blossoms are beautiful! And so sweet to see hubby doing the dishes. That has got to be such a beautiful sight! :)ReplyDelete
Beautiful photos. The garden is stunning. Thanks for sharing. KarieReplyDelete

Loved the walk around the yard, what a great idea! You certainly have a green thumb, your flowers are just beautiful!ReplyDelete
My hubby has taken up dish washing the past couple of years - never before. Now I'm trying to teach him how to grill :) He's a late bloomer!ReplyDelete
Speaking of blooms - love yours! Gorgeous.
Vee, I really like your window shot and even more when I read what was going on inside :) All of the photos go so well together in the mosaic.ReplyDelete
Lovely photos of flowers from your garden. I love the purple petunias. Hope you have a great week:)ReplyDelete
I am glad you did the sweet potato vine in your mom's old bike basket! It's gonna look great!
I'll bet Hubby doing the dishes is one of your favorite! I love the potato vine in the basket.ReplyDelete
Hubby doing the dishes is a great shot. I also love the petunias, in fact, I have some of the very same ones, but they are not in full bloom yet because I bought small plants.ReplyDelete
I'm guessing those are your two favorite shots just because they are mine.
I really like your pretty mosaic and that is a great shot through the window of John doing dishes. And I see your reflection down in the corner of the photo. Neat!ReplyDelete
I love the wave petunias! I love the walk around the yard. Fabulous idea. So many things are in bloom and looking wonderful. I love how many shades of purple are in your mosiac. I read once that heaven is full of colors we haven't seen, but don't you bet purple is big, too?ReplyDelete
Love your mosaic~ I'm especially fond of purple in the garden :-)ReplyDelete
A beautiful mosaic. My hubby has been known to do a few dishes himself. It is appreciated. VReplyDelete
Beautiful flowers Vee! And I love the picture inside the window :-)ReplyDelete
One word--BEAUTIFUL! BlessingsReplyDelete
Hi Vee, I love your blog! I'm a first time visitor responding to your lovely comment on my post today. I scrolled down your blog and enjoyed your thoughts and quick wit and your photos. I'm your newest follower. I hope you have a great week! Blessings, PamelaReplyDelete
I spy with my little eye... someone with a camera on top of their head. Love it!!ReplyDelete
My first thought....... How does any human, keep her windows so spotless, that she can wander around and just snap a pic, in some window?!?!ReplyDelete
It's not human!!!!!
It's super-human, to maintain such windows!!!
And it's totally not fair, to all we just-plain-humans out here! -pout-
Lovely mosaic. And if you love Mosaic Mon. so much, why not do mosaics every day? Yes, I know. Doing that, would make making mosaics, lose some of the fun. :-)
I have missed a few MM's myself! It's been a busy end to spring and I hope to get back on track next week. I love the photo of the view of John through the window in your pretty mosaic, Vee!ReplyDelete
I'm singing 'one of these things is not like the other...' and smiling. But then again...hubby-doing-dishes fits in most perfectly with flowers in bloom!ReplyDelete
Beautiful. My columbine is dark purple . .nearly black. I will have to take a photo to show you. Your flowers are so beautiful. Clearly your weather is improving.ReplyDelete
Gorgeous blooms for Mosaic Monday.ReplyDelete
Very pretty flowers and photos! Thanks for identifying them ... that's so helpful for someone like me who doesn't really garden much, but loves to know the names of flowers. Have been catching up on some of your older posts. I am really enjoying your light, cheerful "voice"! BessReplyDelete
Absolutely beautiful. LOVE the colors.ReplyDelete
Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden and flowers with us. What a treat to have a dish washer handy. :DReplyDelete
This is a gorgeous mosaic. Great photos and beautiful flowers and a dish washing husband. Can't get any better.ReplyDelete
